Tooth decay
What is tooth decay
By definition, decay is a lesion that reduces the enamel of the tooth by forming a cavity that gradually enlarges.
Dental plaque is a film of bacteria that occurs on our teeth 24 hours a day. When in the presence of sugar, dental plaque acidifies the saliva and contributes to the erosion of the enamel. Erosion then becomes decay.
At the Saurel Dental Center, non-alloy fillings are performed.
