Dental veneer
The veneer is made of porcelain, acrylic or composite resin and is used to positively change the appearance of your smile by attaching it to a visible part of the tooth. This conceals stains on the enamel, fills a space between the teeth or corrects defects.
There are two types of facet :
- The direct veneer: made from composite resin and cured in the light;
- The indirect veneer: made in the laboratory from the impression of the teeth, it is made of ceramic and takes almost two weeks to produce. A temporary veneer is installed by the dentist while the indirect veneer is ready and it lasts longer than the direct veneer.
